Among all of the hype for release day of the of the Off-White x Nike "The Ten" collection, there was one model that was suspiciously missing.
This style was Virgil Abloh's take on the Converse Chuck 70 and will not be released into stores until sometime next year.
In addition to this particular style, Abloh has more collaborations with Nike coming soon. The #1 brand confirmed that additional colorways are releasing.
The Off-White x Nike "The Ten" collection ended up being a frustration for most shoppers who tried to get the shoes directly from Nike.
The brand initially cancelled its plans around releasing the collection, and its follow up was filed with errors and extremely long wait times.
The “Chuck 70” made its debut in retail stores after its delayed debut from the rest of the pack that launched in November of 2017.
The added detailing and translucent features of the Off-White collection makes these a challenge to and opportunity to show off for Sneakerheads around the world.
Many celebrities such as Russell Westbrook, Rihanna, and Kendall Jenner have been seen sporting this popular style in recent months.
The Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor release came and went with only a few lucky people were able to get themselves a pair of the fashion forward see-through sneakers.
Virgil Abloh and Nike were able to make everyone on their toes for nearly six months before dropping the finalized silhouette that belongs in the original collaboration.
