November Shoe Releases
Tomorrow starts a new month, which means new sneaker releases. November is the perfect time to pick out some new sneakers to add to your Christmas list, and below are some of our favorites.
Ever since the Air Vapormax, Nike has run full force with the highly technical runner, offering a massive amount of retoolings that drastically change the overall vibe of the silhouette. The Nike Vapormax Run Utility is now arriving this November in an olive green colorway. The new addition to the lineup is a textural piece of knit that blends a lighter knit with a synthetic ripstop fabrication alongside the clasped lacing system and innovative bubble sole.
The Nike Moon Racer is a shoe inspired by 1972’s Moon Shoe with a modern day twist. The shoe offers a modern day Vapor Street Flyknit midsole. After first releasing early this August, the new hybrid is now set to return in three new colorways. The first pair presents a clean look, with a star white mesh providing a base for navy, tan and red accents. The black and blue pair opts for a more toned down look. The final pair gives off heavy retro vibes with an orange upper that boasts an old school cream color on the large midfoot Swoosh and the laces.
In a sneaker industry largely dominated by chunky, maximalist silhouettes, the sleek adidas Continental 80 flips the script entirely and offers a more confined design to consumers who like to keep their footwear a bit simpler. This fall, the slimmed down lifestyle staple is set to return in four seasonal colorways that hinge on the model’s Hi-Res Aqua and Scarlet midfood stripe to break up their otherwise tonal uppers. The shoes are available to buy on November 1st, for an inexpensive $80.
Sneakers and outer space have always had an interesting connection. The latest shoe to adopt a space-inspired aesthetic is this recently-unveiled “NASA” Vans Old Skool, featuring the agency’s recognizable branding on the lateral side of the white leather upper. The astronaut uniform inspired look doesn’t stop there though, as the shoe also features a shuttle tag on the grey tongue, a removable flag patch on the heel similar to what you’d see on a flight suit, a rigid midsole, vectran padding around the heel collar, contrasting black eyelets and tonal “For The Benefit Of All” branding on the medial side of the midsole, completing this Old Skool’s liftoff-ready look.
Yes! Beavis and Butt-Head are getting their own shoe! The black canvas upper boasts an all-over print that nods to Beavis and Butt-Head’s favorite gas station snacks. Nachos, burgers, fries, slurpees and large fountain sodas all make an appearance, as does the large grey rat that’s a frequent guest in their dilapidated house. The two scatterbrained teenagers themselves then appear on the tongue, accompanied by a small yellow banner. They are available November 3rd and the price is unknown at this time.
