Nelly - Air Force 1s
“I said give me two pair ‘cause I need two pair. So I can get to stompin’ in my Air Force Ones.. Big boys! Stompin’ in my Air Force Ones.” To say that Nelly’s song “Air Force Ones” in 2002 started the movement wouldn’t be fair to the 20 years prior when they were popular, but when Nelly dropped this song, these models were flying off the shelves in Foot Lockers and Finish Lines all across the country. 16 years later and they are still relevant - thanks for your inspiration, Nelly!
